🚨 MISSING: Mother and Three Young Children Vanish in Alabama—Authorities Urgently Need the Public’s Help

HALE COUNTY, Alabama — Authorities have confirmed that Cayla Louise Hummel, 31, and her three young children have been safely located after they were reported missing for nearly three weeks.

The family was last seen on June 22 in the Millwood Road area of Greensboro, leading to an extensive search involving the Hale County Sheriff’s Office and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).

The children were identified as Sirius Richardson, 6, Abram Richardson, 4, and Luna Richardson, 20 months old.

Investigators had issued missing and endangered alerts and asked the public for ᴀssistance as efforts to locate the family continued.

On July 12, authorities announced that Cayla Louise Hummel and all three children were found safe in Kentucky.

Officials said the discovery brought a positive ending to a search that had drawn attention across Alabama and neighboring states.

According to investigators, authorities are continuing to review the circumstances surrounding the family’s disappearance.

Officials said they are gathering additional information to better understand what occurred before the family was located.
