MGK roasts Conor McGregor 5 years after THAT ugly red carpet incident

Machine Gun Kelly is adding insult to injury after Conor McGregor after an overambitious roundhouse kick derailed his UFC comeback on Saturday.

The 36-year-old pop punk rapper (born Colson Baker) and 38-year-old former champion MMA fighter have a years-long feud which famously began when the two got into an ugly altercation on the red carpet of the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2021.

The two famously had to be separated as McGregor famously threw a punch at MGK but it didn’t connect.

Now, MGK has shown that there is no love loss as he went on multiple rants on his Instagram to share a gallery of pH๏τos and videos including their famous confrontation along with screensH๏τs and a video of McGregor’s injury against Max Holloway at UFC 329 over the weekend.

He brutally captioned the image: ‘knees weak of old age the real conor can’t stand up [clown emoji] @thenotoriousmma.’ 

As if that wasn’t already enough, MGK shared another video mocking McGregor before going on a profanity-laden rant.

He said: ‘I’m aware I did a post yesterday and I should probably apologize for absolutely nothing, homie. F*** this dude, that’s how beef works, We don’t like each other.

‘We don’t age the same, my knees are awesome.’

The Bloody Valentine hitmaker went on to address their altercation from nearly five years ago.

MGK said: ‘Where the f*** is the rest of the footage where we toss this little guy like a piece of dirty drawls across the red carpet?

‘That’s why all the footage starts with him far away.’

Some commenters had criticized MGK for trashing the UFC fighter after his injury as they saw it as kicking a man while he was down but the pop punk rapper did not back down.

He ended his rant by saying: ‘Thank you for the walkout being longer than the fight. You wasting everyone’s time. It’s pissing me off.’

Back in September 2021, MGK and McGregor squared off on the red carpet of the MTV Video Music Awards at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York as the former UFC champion branded the musician a ‘vanilla boy rapper.’

The drama began as they were posing for pH๏τographers on the red carpet with their respective partners – Megan Fox and Dee Devlin – by their sides just before the start of the show.  

MGK’s movie star now ex-girlfriend Fox was among the people who stepped in between the two would-be fighters, and then wrapped her arms around him as the couple were led off past the growing crowd that had gathered

McGregor later brushed off the scuffle, telling a reporter nothing happened because he only spars with ‘real fighters’, and only knows who the musician is because he is dating Fox.

McGregor told Entertainment Tonight at the time: ‘Absolutely nothing happened. I don’t know. He showed up, and I don’t know. I don’t know the guy.

‘Nothing happened with me, I only fight real fighters, people that actually fight, you know what I mean? I certainly don’t fight little vanilla boy rappers. I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know anything about him, except that he’s with Megan Fox.  

McGregor’s rep also said he does not know who Kelly is and insisted that his client wasn’t the one to start the scuffle.

It was first reported that McGregor asked MGK (born Colson Baker) for a pH๏τo, but the Bloody Valentine star sH๏τ him down, according to TMZ.

However McGregor’s spokesperson later told Daily Mail: ‘Conor McGregor did not ask anyone for a picture, nor did he instigate this incident. He does not know Machine Gun Kelly, outside of the fact that he attended Conor’s fight this past July.’

MGK and Megan previously attended a fight which saw Conor McGregor take on Dustin Poirier at the T-Mobile arena in July 2021

Reports at the time also suggested that words were exchanged and the situation escalated to the point where Kelly pushed McGregor, who then stumbled back and spilled his drink. 

Meanwhile, MGK welcomed a daughter, Saga, in March of last year with Fox.

Kelly and Fox, 40, had their baby girl just four months after their relationship reportedly ended following claims the actress discovered he had been communicating with other women. 

Despite the breakup, a source revealed in late last year that Fox has been impressed by ‘how he’s stepped up for both her and the baby,’ fueling whispers that the former fiancés could be finding their way back to each other
