Influencer, 30, dies after head-on bike crash during her HONEYMOON

German influencer Laura Viktoria Härtig died at the age of 30 on Sunday, almost three weeks after she had been involved in a collision on her bicycle while on her honeymoon in Italy.

Härtig pᴀssed away in the wake of a June 23 crash in the Dolomite mountain range with Peter Runggaldier, 57, a one-time Olympian who had been riding a motorcycle.

The accident occurred on a road close to the Sella Pᴀss, according to the Italian outlets il Dolomiti and Trentino.

In the incident, Härtig’s bicycle broke into multiple pieces and she was injured after landing on the asphalt ground, the outlets reported.

Emergency medical personnel were able to resuscitate Härtig prior to transporting her to San Maurizio Hospital in Bolzano, Italy via airlift.

Härtig had more than 55,000 followers on her Instagram page @alltimelaura, which documented her outdoor endeavors in sports such as skiing, hiking, cycling and travel.

The Trento Prosecutor’s Office was investigating the events, the Italian outlets reported.

Runggaldier, who represented Italy in skiing during the 1994 and 1998 Winter Olympics, on Tuesday posted a message to Instagram in Italian speaking about the ᴅᴇᴀᴅly incident.

‘Dear friends, in regard to the serious road accident in which I was involved, I ask you to respect my moment of pain and my need for confidentiality,’ Runggaldier said in the message. ‘My thoughts go out to all the people involved and their families.’

‘I trust in your sensitivity and please understand that at this time I will not give any interviews or statements.’

A message posted on her Instagram page on Thursday paid memorial to the late content creator, marking the dates of her life from January 25, 1996-July 12, 2026.

‘Laura went to her beloved mountains at sunset,’ read the message, which was translated from her native German. ‘Mountains where the sun always shines, the finest powder snow lies, the best routes await, and there’s a cabin with all her favorite snacks.’

‘That’s where she is now, waiting for us.’

The message continued, ‘Thank you for your concern, your support, and your kind words. 

‘It’s truly remarkable that Laura has been able to share her pᴀssion with so many people through this channel and beyond. Until we meet again on the next summit, Laura.’

According to the Italian outlets, Runggaldier ‘suffered serious injuries’ in the collision and had been taken to the Santa Chiara hospital in Trento, Italy.

On his website, Runggaldier said that he remains active in skiing and professionally involved via various endeavors.

‘In summer I like to choose among various activities such as football, motorcycling with friends, cycling and golf,’ Runggaldier said on his site.
